Suprapto Sastro Atmojo

Suprapto Sastro Atmojo is a member of the Press Council's KTP2JB (Indonesian Journalists Association). He has worked as a journalist since 1994 as a reporter for the daily newspaper Pos Kota. In 1999, he became an editor at the daily newspaper Warta Kota, part of the Kompas Gramedia Group. He worked his way up through the ranks as deputy editor, editor, Assistant Managing Editor, Digital Content Manager, Senior Editor, and Online Editorial Manager of Warta Kota, until his retirement in 2025.

In journalism, Suprapto holds certification from the Press Council as a Chief Journalist and serves as a journalist competency examiner. He also serves as an expert for the Press Council. Within the professional journalist organization, Suprapto is a member of the Indonesian Journalists Association (Persatuan Jurnalis Indonesia), holding various positions, including Deputy Secretary General of the Indonesian Journalists Association (PWI).

In his education, after completing his undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering from Padang State University, he continued his education at the IPDN (National Institute of Public Administration), earning a doctorate in Government Science. He also teaches at Dharma Nusantara University and the STIAMI Institute in Jakarta.
