Ambang Priyonggo

Ambang is a member of the KTP2JB expert committee nominated by the Indonesian Ministry of Politics, Law, and Security. As a journalist, he worked as a reporter for the Jawa Pos daily newspaper and as an editor for the Sindo newspaper in Jakarta.

He transitioned from journalism to academia, pursuing a Master's degree in Communication Studies at the University of Westminster, England, and then a Doctorate in Communication Studies at the University of Malaya. He taught at Multimedia Nusantara University (UMN). At this educational institution, which is part of Kompas Gramedia, Ambang served as Secretary of the UMN Master's Program in Communication Studies.

He also led the Indonesian Press Media Landscape Survey, a collaboration between UMN and the Press Council.
